    'Blue Wonder'

It has always amazed us how certain plants can form the most detailed blooms all on their own, just as a part of their nature. This popular perennial, The Blue Wonder Toad Lily (also called Hardy Japanese Lily)is one that definitely focuses on the details. Delicate star-shaped blooms form in August-September and are white with bluish/purple spots. Plant in a part shade to shade location with moist well-drained soil. One of the best late-blooming shade perennials, you will not want to miss this intricate bloom!

Ordered this years ago. Put them in a pot of not much soil. They are still in the pot and give me beautiful blooms every year! Very beautiful delicate flowers.

1/3 roots made it. But it’s beautiful!

I wasn't sure how this would grow, but after planting in a large container, keeping it in shade and the soil moist but not too wet, I have my first bloom. It's small, but mighty. The color and pattern are pretty striking. Now, hoping it'll survive the winter!
