The Fanal Red Astilbe will work well in borders, as a mass planting or even as a cut flower. This astilbe is very easy to grow and will grow and bloom even during the hot summers! Just give them a drink every once in a while and they will grow healthy and strong. Good for hummingbirds. The Fanal Astilbe will grow from 20-30" tall and it loves the shade!

All of the bare roots I bought came up quickly. The foliage is a lovely, reddish color. No blooms yet, but I know perennials can take some time.

The Fanal Red Astilbe greenery is growing very well-getting bigger each week. The red "feathers" that show color haven't grown yet. I'm expecting them to start shooting up soon. The plant is very healthy.

These roots came in very healthy. I planted them a couple of days later and they have grown a lot since then (probably only a month or so). It looks like buds are starting to form.

100% of these are growing in pots right now. They came in healthy and were planted within 48 hours. I have them in partial sin and they seem to be thriving. I give a little water every other day and that seems to be sufficient with our climate at this time. I will be replanting these next year in their permanent location
