Abiqua Drinking Gourd Hosta

This is the third of this "Drinking Gourd" hosta I have purchased from Holland Bulbs this summer. I am delighted with how quickly they grow and how aesthetically pleasing they look when established.

Ordered these late, but true to Hosta form, they were hardy and popped right up out of the soil. The leaves have a blue green hue to them and are growing quickly. I've put them in a full shade garden and they seem to love it!

I love these for the price I paid, and everything I ordered has come up.

The Abiqua Drinking Gourd Hosta seems to be growing pretty well even though it was probably planted at not the best time of year going into the hot summer months. I think it likes the shady spot where it has been placed, although I made need to move it further from the house to accommodate it's expected large size (if all goes according to plan!!).

Good healthy root which grew quickly.
