Niobe Clematis is a winner all around! It's large 6-8" diameter blooms of deep, velvety red will knock your socks off in June and July. This hardy clematis prefers full sun for best growth and blooms results. Can be grown from North Dakota to New Mexico and has been toted as a strong and long bloomer.
If you are going to prune your Niobe Clematis do so just before the growth begins in spring or late winter. Prune the entire vine back to about 12" above the ground, making sure to leave several strong buds intact.
