Angelique Begonia is a newer variety of Begonia odorata. The white and pink blooms of this double variety will fill your garden or patio with a sweet fragrance, not found too often in Begonias. This begonias works great in hanging baskets as well as containers. Like all begonias, this plant may require staking once the flowers start to bloom, plant in a semi shady location for best results.

Tip for successfully growing tuberous begonias: Be sure to provide adequate water once the plant starts to grow, however make sure to not overwater as begonias are sensitive to rot. The soil should be constantly damp during the growing period, but not drenched. Provide good drainage for the container/ground in which it is planted.

First time growing begonias and so happy I ordered these! Planted late, they still produced many gorgeous and unique blooms. I loved them so much last summer, I brought them into the basement to overwinter before frost. I’m in zone 6b- they died back completely- I kept them in a windowsill and barely watered them until spring, and they surprisingly came right back! Love them and hope I can continue to keep them going!

I planted some of these along with double white begonias, some Dusty Miller, caladium and lobelia in a planter that is in full shade on my front stoop. This is the first time I’ve grown begonias and I was super pleased with them! They flowered from early summer until frost in my 6a area. Blooms were big, beautiful and prolific.

They took a little while to sprout, but worth the wait. Put 3 each in 2 14” hanging baskets! Baskets are full and running over!

    Finally sprouted!

I planted them at end of March. They sprouted in about one month and now have beautiful leaves.
