A favorite in Holland, the fragrant flowers of Freesia are dainty in bright red, yellow, pink, White and mauve. They make a splendid Cut-flower with a surprisingly fruity aroma. A very affordable way to add an abundance of color to your garden.
Full sun, rich soil and good drainage are essential to get these to bloom. Must be planted/started when temperatures are at 45-50° at night (for at least 4-6 weeks) with full sun at day. It will take approximately 6-8 weeks before growth appears.
