Agapanthus, or Lily of the Nile, are native to South America and grow as perennials in zones 8 and above. Agapanthus features clumps of grass-like foliage with tall stalks of blue, trumpet-shaped blooms towering up to 48" above the leaves. Blooming in early to mid-Summer, these beautiful blossoms are fragrant and work as a focal point in a cut flower bouquet. Plant in full sun for best results. Lily of the Nile is drought and heat tolerant, attracts pollinators to your garden and is also deer resistant! We recommend dividing every 3-4 years to continue blooming year after year in hardy zones.
