Camassia quamash, also called Camas Lily, Wild Hyacinth, Indian Lily and its taller sister Camassia leichtlinii ("Caerulea") are too beautiful to stay unknown any longer. Both are mullein-like plants of which Camassia quamash is the smallest one with deep blue starry flowers. Lovely along the edge of a pond or in a flower meadow. Native to North America! These will return year after year and multiple!

Ordered a pack of 25 camassia bulbs, received 26! Planted in late October, and as of early March all 26 are popping and look very green and healthy. I am so excited to watch these beauties grow, will be ordering more this fall!

Never heard of them before I stumbled upon them on this site. Every one came up this spring and blooming. They are very whimsical, yellow stamens pop against the blue background. I hope they multiply. I wish I could post pictures.

These flowers arrived in a timely fashion in the fall. I planted them a little later then I had planned in December and they started coming up in late February. These flowers smell amazing and are so nice to look at! I will be ordering way more next fall!
