A great variation on the original, this Muscari latifolium will have you astonished! The bottom half of its tight clusters of small round flowers blooms as a deep violet color, while the top half produces somewhat lighter, almost blue blooms. Sporting leaves which are somewhat thicker than the common Muscari, this plant is also great when used in borders or among other bulbs and perennials. Try planting with other hues of blues to create a water/river fairy-tale like feel.
