    Puschkinia libanotica

The light blue flowers of the Striped Squill (Puschkinia libanotica) are one of the very first of the spring blooming bulbs to brighten up the landscape. They carry a slight sweet fragrance and work great for mass planting and naturalizing. Try planting these in your "hard to grow" lawn areas for a nice ground cover effect!

I planted these in a fill dirt area with very poor soil and they all did wonderful. I was so happy to see a small field of these little flowers. The bees also loved them too since they bloom so early. I would say 10 out of 10 on these bulbs.
