Blue Eddy Allium is a perennial allium that blooms in late summer and grows from a root as opposed to a bulb. Blue Eddy is a clump forming perennial with grey/blue curling leaves. Blooming late into the summer and into early fall it has 1.5 round clusters of light pink blooms.

Blue Eddy makes a great front of border or edging plant with it's compact, tidy clump forming habit. The blooms on Blue Eddy are fragrant, attract butterflies & bees and make great cut flowers. Deer do not like Blue Eddy Allium. Once established this plant is drought tolerant.

Blue Eddys - my new fav!

    Pros:
    • compact size
    • hardy
    • brilliant color
    Cons:
I have ordered from Holland Bulbs before and love the unique offerings. The Blue Eddy bulbs were perfect for my smaller bed. They are thriving and I cannot wait until they bloom. I even placed a second order so I could add them to another section as well.
