A winner of the All-American Selection Committee's Gold Medal award, this pea has also been called the "vegetable of the century" - just two of the reasons for growing the Sugar Snap Pea! Pick the pods young when tender and crisp. Eat whole raw, stir-fried or cooked lightly as you would green beans.
Garden Tip: Try "pea sticks" to support the vines. Pea sticks are small branches, 2-4'L, stuck in the ground along the rows to support the plants as they grow. Trellises also work well for growing peas.
