I purchased a large quantity of these 'Red Lion' Amaryllis' to give as gifts last year. All bulbs were healthy and each recipient sent me pictures thanking me for the gift and all had bloomed about a month after they were planted. I had told them to be patient as the bulb may not be mature enough to bloom very quickly. I've ordered more Amaryllis' this year, but a different variety.

The buds haven’t opened yet, but the plant itself is in excellent shape. Once I watered it, the bulb spouted in less than 2 days and grew quickly producing 2 healthy bulbs. I am looking forward to enjoying some beautiful flowers within the next few days!

I thought the recipients would get one bloom and I hoped it would be pretty. They were able to enjoy for months! So far has bloomed twice since December (it's February) and with multiple large flowers. So beautiful! Note-They've followed the care instructions closely.

I received this plant in Dec and it has bloomed twice since then. Producing 4 beautiful velvety red flowers each time. I’m very satisfied with this plant.

Used to having 2 blossom stems but this is the first i have ever had that is on the third blossom stem, wow
