This bulb arrived not quite as healthy as many of the others I've received. It produced a single flower stalk fairly quickly after potting it, with a hint of another stalk forming. The first stalk of flowers grew fairly short and this bulb isn't labeled as a nymph. Much shorter than all of my other bulbs. The first stalk had 4 flowers and bloomed a gorgeous deep red color, just stunning. They are going to seed now. In the meantime the other stalk has managed to grow, albeit shorter than the first stalk, and has buds emerging from the stalk now and should open in a day or 2.

Lovely amaryllis! Very big, dark blooms!

We are so happy with our purchase. It didn’t take them long to start bloom. They are gorgeous. We got them in memory of my grandma. I can’t wait for my next purchase.

When I ordered these amaryllis bulbs, I was quite comprehensive. Due to the fact I have ordered from other places and the bulbs came to me in a rotten stage with no guarantee on them. However these bulbs came in packaged well, no rot to them. And the size of the bulbs were about the size of a baseball and were already poking their flower leaves out. I ordered quite a few and can't wait to see the outcome. It will be great to have some color in our home, while the snow and cold is outside in our Utah weather. Also, when you order the kits, they come with the container, soil packet and he bulb. All you have to do is add the water, plant the bulb and watch the beauty.
