Very sweet and tender. Provides that wonderful "garden fresh" taste. Approximately 7 inches long. May be planted about every 2 weeks. Partial shade to full sun.
Garden Tip: Carrots that have been planted in the summer can be left in the ground until the first frost. Cover with a thick layer of mulch, like hay, straw or leaves to preserve the crop. Much sweeter after a frost, a late carrot harvest will be a fresh treat in the fall. Matures in 76 days.
