I rated this plant with 4 stars, as now it looks that it will grow nicely. However, it was a bit deceiving in the beginning, as it came in a pot to be offered as a gift, but the pot is small gray plastic with a pierced cover that lets a bud come out. It does not look at all as a Christmas gift. Initially I thought it should grow out of that pot, but after a month of waiting, there was no progress. I transferred it to a much larger pot without any cover, and now it grows happily and sprouted the big stem that will make the flowers.

Second stalk really late.

You never know how an amaryllis bulb will turn out but this one was beautiful and with many flowers!!!

This one turned out nicely though I have had them not bloom at all. This one took A LONG time to flower but it was lovely.
