I had to call and convince the employee to go ahead and send my dahlias because they weren't planning to send them until April. The employee told me that was because I should not plant them until April. I assume this was done so that I would not damage them before I planted them. An explanation would have been enough, rather than just hold my purchase. Because I planted them early, they are already breaking ground. The bulbs looked healthy. I expect them to be beautiful.
