I purchased this as a gift for a co-worker that lost his mother-in-law. He sent me pictures almost daily as it grew and his wife said when the flowers bloomed it filled their whole house with fragrance. It seemed to give them great joy during their sorrow. I did feel the purple flowers were somewhat lost once the tulips came up.
