I purchased this for myself at first and it was so exciting to be able to watch this bulb bud and bloom! I purchased more as gifts for my office workers who don't have green thumbs and they were adored and the blooms greatly admired! Beautiful red blossoms that last a while! Will be purchasing more this fall!

This bulb is great. It needs no water and no container. These are great gifts for friends.

I received this as a gift in December and was a little dubious about the claim that it would bloom without any care. Well, color me convinced! It produced numerous blooms without any help from me. It is now March, and a new bloom just opened. What a great idea for a gift!!
