Cons:
  • Late season

Buying an identified bag of bulbs has a lot of potential risk. Ultimately, when my bag arrived I was able to separate it into two clearly defined groups. Deer resistant and Deer Buffet.

Much to my delight, the number of bulbs that were deer resistant far outnumbered the Buffet.

It was with great pleasure that I enjoyed one last Indian summer day planting bulbs that will be enjoyed by people, not necessarily dewe, when spring finally arrives.

I will definitely buy a bag again next year.

  • cold planting in january

I received 396 bulbs from this offer, mostly tulips and daffodils, with smaller amounts of Dutch irises and hyacinths. In general, they were beautiful big bulbs. A few were brown and dried out, but not many. I planted most of them myself and shared two varieties with a friend. The last ones were planted February 1, but I've got my fingers crossed and am hoping for hundreds of gorgeous blooms this spring.

The only thing I could have improved was to receive details on the shipment so I knew what to expect and could have chosen planting locations before the surprise package arrived.
