Going to be very pretty
Can't wait. Beautiful colors.
These tubers were planted in a really crowded flower bed - right next to other tubers and a lot of Gladioulus but they are thriving. All 3 tubers are growing into beautiful plants. 2 of the plants are of medium size - approx 8" and 1 of them is about half the size. The flower bed was prepared with peat moss, soil and cow manure and compost, and is watered almost everyday. I did not put Preen around the tubers after planting and I noticed a few Poison Ivy after a few days. I planted these on the weekend of the 4th of July and although I do not see any buds yet, but there is a lot of foliage and I am looking forward to their blooms.
I planted all three tubers early summer. They're all very healthy and bushy, with 5-6 big blooms on each plant with more buds on the way. But I can only give 4/5 stars because the blooms aren't what I was hoping for - they're bright yellow throughout. No color variation, and none of the exciting oranges and pinks I was expecting.
The flowers turned out to be purple and white, nothing like the pictures. However they are beautiful and healthy plants.
