I mass planted over 5000 bulbs on my farm. The mixed tulip collection was such a colorful show. I mixed them with daffs, crocus, hyacinths and the collection was stunning. My planting was easy. I rototilled a large path by my split cedar fence. Added 6 inches of blended top soil. Then planted groups of eight to ten bulbs in small pockets. Next, I covered them with more top soil I bought by the truck load. Last, I added bark on top to cover for winter. It took a couple of weekends as I work full time. Spring time was lovely. I shared cut bouquets with neighbors, friends, coworkers and family. We'll see how well the come back next year. We have deer and they nibbled a few, but with mass planting, they ate the ones in front and left many untouched. Buy these. It will make your heart glad you did!
About half cane back the second year. Great value for the amount you get.
Received a nice crate of the The Rainbow mix Tulips . I bought a thousand of them and can't wait to see the show in spring . The bulbs are a good size and all are healthy , no disease or rot . VERY HAPPY !!! . Steven Robertson
1000 tulips come in a bulb crate which was awesome. Maybe had 4 squishy tulips out of the 1000 which I was very happy with. Can't wait to see which varieties are in my mix come spring! I'll be ordering again.
Used these bulbs as cut flowers. They were both my earliest and latest blooms with large variety. Large amount of colors, started with multiple pinks, when to red yellow, orange, finished with French mixes. There were classic tulips, double tulips and French tulips mixed in. No disease noted on bulbs, great deal!
