I've never had any luck with peonies, but both of the Shirley Temple have been planted and have developed leaves. I'm thrilled and really hope they grow and put on flowers before my granddaughters come for a visit.
All 5 peonies had multiple eyes and are thriving in my garden after a late start.
Still hasn't bloomed - I'll give it another season or two but the foliage is lovely.
I planted it in late March and it is growing very well. The foliage looks healthy. I am not expecting it to flower this year though.
The bulb arrived in great condition with its shoots above the soil when planted.
