Doing great!

Price was excellent especially with the guarantee for success within the first growing season. The bulbs arrived in perfect time for planting and instructions for planting them were clear. Now, as a beginner gardener, to wait and see if they grow and bloom.

Two of the three bulbs I recieved had already started sprouted. Once in the ground, these plants have grown very rapidly and display beautiful dark green foliage.

I'm thrilled to say the bulbs I received were very healthy. I've already got one bloom after planting in mid April and many buds coming in! I am a bit confused though as I thought these were lower growing with dark purple foliage. Mine are at least 2 1/2 feet tall and bright green foliage. I'm sure maybe later into it's life the foliage will change color but I can't find info on that. Hoping it gets it's darker foliage, but I still love these dahlias!

All plants arrived healthy and all came up without issue. I have ordered from Holland numerous times and they always send healthy roots/bulbs.
