I've owned this for 2 years now. In most cases it works perfectly. The only time it doesn't is when it encounters tree roots like my Crepe Myrtle. My only con is that is isn't wide enough at 1.75 inch for many bulbs. It will cut a hole that is the right depth but not wide enough. i end up have to force the bulbs down if i can. Two inches wide and it would get 5 Stars.
This product is well made and works fine for small bulbs
This auger was a lifesaver. I decided to plant over 2000 bulbs this year in virgin Hill Country (dry/rocky) land and I could not have done it without this drill attachment. Obviously you need a good drill and I had a small generator and extension cords rather than batteries so I could keep working. Tip : Do not hold drill too tight, that way if you hit a root / rock you release drill and do not twist your wrist.
